Terms of use

Short, because there is not much to say: read it, check it, and do not treat it as professional advice.

NatureHQ is free to read. You may quote from it with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions wholesale, or present its content as your own.

Bibliographic details, study titles and author names are facts and belong to nobody. NatureHQ’s own explanatory writing — the plain-English claims, the interpretations, the caveats — is its own work.

NatureHQ is offered as it is. Considerable care goes into the accuracy of what is published here, and the site is explicit about its own limits — but no warranty is given that any page is complete, current or free of error. Scientific understanding changes, and a page reviewed today may be superseded tomorrow.

Nothing here is veterinary, medical, legal or professional advice. Where a page carries guidance about wildlife — feeding, handling, safety, welfare — it names the jurisdiction it applies to and points to the authority that should actually be consulted. Follow that pointer rather than this site.

NatureHQ links to published research and to the organisations that hold it. Those sites have their own terms and their own privacy practices, and NatureHQ is not responsible for them. Links are provided so a reader can check a claim at its source, which is the whole point of the exercise.

These terms may change. Material changes will be noted on the corrections page rather than applied silently.
